This is Pete Zenquis' Top Flight Gold Edition P-51D Mustang. Pete built it with functional flaps and retracts. It's covered with Solortex and painted red and aluminum in honor of the famed Tuskegee Airmen. Alfonse Harris, a fighter pilot with the 2143rd Fighter Group was one of the guest speakers at our 1998 club banquet. He signed the wing of Pete's Mustang, distinguishing it from the zillions of other P-51s built since the dawn of time.
