This is Dan Savage's Spirit Jets Sweet 16 modeled after the YF-16 with the Paris Air Show paint scheme. These pictures were taken prior to test flight. This model features a fiberglass fuselage with balsa sheeted foam core wings. The lettering were custom generated and the stars and bars came from the hobby store clearance basket. The YF-16 has full flow ducting with much of the jet being scratch built and engineered by Dan. .
